Bike confusions

Swarupmay Majumdar Confused, need a suggestion! I have been using a 3rd hand kinetic recently which I got for 6k abt a yr back. Its engine got jammed. Needs hauling up. and it costs me 2.5k. If i sell it off with out a repairy done, I get a sum of 2k. and in my present scenerio a bike is a real boon, but I wont buy a new one! struck with indecission! can anyone say me a line

    • Anil Sharma Dr. Always go 4 a new one coz with 2nd hand you will face the same problem after some time. New vehicle don't need maintenance for quite a long time. Sell the present one and buy a new bike and enjoy tension free ridding.

    • Swarupmay Majumdar But how much may it cost!!! It has been off the road for long time . But I have got all its documents and it is lying idle since I left using that in a godown

    • Adnan Khalid If it hasnt been used, its not abused! bringing back the old lady to life isnt a big thing as long as the only thing you are looking at is the engine; cosmetics on the other hand cost, and thats why we leave it for the ladeeej :P

I cant possibly tell you the cost without having a look at it, but if its been lying around for ~5 years, the first few things that need to be changed would be:
Bore-Piston, battery, bearings, clutch plates, tyres, chain/sprocket, brake line...See More
