    • Swarupmay Majumdar Im not able to make which are the metastatic carcinoma parts in the x-ray. are these small white sports near the base of the heart? small white dots

    • Rajshankar Tony Sarma Er, the big round thing caudal to the heart.

Small white dots you can't be sure of. Remember that a tumour needs to be 6mm diameter before it shows up on lung radiographs.

    • Raja Velu metastasis of the secondary neoplastic process going on else where in the body can show as a focal or diffuse alveolar pattern in lung field. It can be very miniscule in size to as big as tennis ball size in dogs.I see a lit of milliary patten like metastasis in cat.Primary lung tumor can show up differently. Some of the enlarged lymph node also show up as a focal point in lung field.
